Privacy Policy

Blue Horizon Link is a reading site. There are no accounts, no logins, no shopping basket and no newsletter, which means there is very little about you for us to hold.

What is collected

• Server logs. Like any website, ours records standard request data — IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. These logs are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are discarded on a rolling basis.
• Aggregate statistics. We may count page views and referrers to understand which chapters people read. This is looked at in aggregate; we do not attempt to identify individual readers.
• Email you send us. If you write to the address on the contact page, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with it, and no longer.

What is not done

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not run advertising networks on this site, do not build advertising profiles, and do not share data with data brokers. We do not ask for payment details, because nothing here is for sale.

Cookies

The site is built as plain static pages and sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If any cookie is used at all it is strictly functional. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to read anything here.

Opting out

Browsing anonymously is the default: read the site with a privacy-focused browser, a tracker blocker or private browsing and nothing is lost. To have an email exchange with us deleted from our mailbox, ask, and we will remove it. Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold; write to us and we will comply.

Entries may link to hotel websites. Those sites are run by other companies under their own privacy policies, which we do not control and cannot vouch for.
